Pain Points: Due to the challenging times brought upon by the pandemic, malls across the region experienced a decrease in physical shopping.
Objective: To run a promotion that increases foot traffic to Parkway Mall and ultimately drive sales for the small and local businesses that suffered the most during this period.
Scope: DRH Group launched a Shopping Local Pays promotion whereby customers who shop from a selection of local retailers are entitled to win a gift card. Purchase receipts were innovatively managed through a chatbot feature on Parkway Mall’s website and the promotion was advertised through paid ads on social media, retargeting website visitors and through in-mall posters.
